Over the past nine months my wife, Rachel, and I have been planning and setting up Papamoa Orthodontist and Tara Rd Dental. I’m the dentist and she’s the orthodontist!

What a crazy time it’s been. From ordering four dental chairs in July (and only receiving two in time to open in February) to opening during the Omicron outbreak! We’ve certainly learnt a lot along the way and I’m really excited to be able to share my style of dentistry with our patients.

We have been lucky enough to have Rachael, Belinda and Brit come and join us at our Papamoa dentist. They make an amazing and experienced team, who’ll welcome you with open arms and help make your dental experience easy-peasy.

I’m a big fan of communicating in language you’ll understand and listening to your needs and wants, for your teeth and oral health. I have loads of experience in intravenous sedation, wisdom tooth surgery and dental implants. I love using these techniques to help get the best outcome for my patients.

Better oral health improves our overall health. Preventive measures, including great home care, regular check-ups and hygiene treatments, are the cornerstone of  oral health. With great teeth and oral health it’s easy to get on with all the things you’d rather be doing!
